
Zivorad Vasic Ph.D.
Živorad graduated from Boston University in two fields, Hospitality Administration and Finance, both with the Magna Cum Laude distinction. He obtained his Master's degree by defending a thesis on economic and financial indicators in the hospitality industry. He is a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade and at Singidunum University, where he earned his PhD with the thesis on "Employee Rewarding in Hospitality."
His 17-year-long career in the U.S. took him from Boston to eight American cities and 11 hotels, where he held leadership positions. After 17 years in the U.S., Živorad Vasić returned to Serbia in 2008 and joined Delta Holding. In just three months after his return, at the age of 31, he became the youngest general manager in the history of the Continental Hotel, a renowned hotel with the richest tradition in the region, which has been open since 1979. Since 2016, he served as Vice President, and in 2019 he became Senior Vice President of Delta Holding. He managed the complex IHG hotel portfolio of Delta Holding and was simultaneously responsible for decision-making regarding regional development of IHG hotels. Živorad Vasić was twice named Manager of the Year at Hyatt Corporation, in 2002 and 2005. He was awarded the Manager of the Year by the Serbian Managers Association in 2014.
He is a member of the Serbian Managers Association, the Serbian Business Club “Privrednik,” and a member of the Board of Directors for Achievements of Young People in Serbia. He has received numerous prestigious awards in the hospitality industry, served as Director for Development of the Intercontinental Group for Southern Europe, and is the President of the Board of Directors of KK Crvena Zvezda.
Today, he is the co-founder and CEO of “Kadena Properties,” a unique platform in Serbia for managing real estate investments and executing complex construction projects; co-founder and CEO of “Kadena Sotheby’s International Realty” and the company “Propellyst.”
