Opening of the 2025/2026 Master’s Academic Year

On Thursday, October 31, the Academy of Hotel Management, Tourism and Wellness officially opened the new master’s academic year.

The ceremonial opening was led by Prof. Dr. Danijel Pavlović, Director of the Academy, and Prof. Emeritus Dr. Slobodan Čerović, Founder of the Academy. Students and guests were addressed by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Slobodan Unković, one of the most respected experts in tourism, economics, and education, former Rector of the University of Belgrade, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, and Ambassador of the SFR Yugoslavia to Beijing. He is a recipient of the highest award from the United Nations World Tourism Organization for his contribution to the development of tourism, as well as an honorary professor and doctor at several prestigious universities.

Prof. Unković delivered the first lecture to master’s students on contemporary trends in tourism, providing insights into current challenges and opportunities in the field.

This event marks the beginning of a new stage in the education of master’s students, who will deepen their knowledge and contribute to the development of hotel management, tourism, and wellness through their studies.

Enrollment for the Master’s Program in Tourism and Hotel Management Development is still ongoing. The program lasts one year and awards 60 ECTS credits.
